Peter Johnson: Brittany, France; An artist with a camera, computer and printer. My current work, studies of water surface has evolved from reflections, ripples, through an investigation of the relationship of place with its water, to convex meniscus. Ditch, pond, spring, fountain, brook, canal, provide places of exploration and visual excitement, always fresh, changing according to season and available light, sunny days provoke a feeding frenzy. Photo-graphy, drawing with light, by extension painting with light. Un artiste avec un appareil photo, un ordinateur et une imprimante. Mon travail actuel est l' étude de la surface de l'eau, il a évolué à partir des réflexions, des ondulations, j'ai étudé le rapport lieux-eau, et actuellement, l'observation du ménisque convexe liquide. Fossé, étang, source, fontaine, ruisseau, canal, constituent mes espaces d'exploration, je trouve une excitation visuelle toujours fraîche, avec les changements de lumière, de saison et les jours ensoleillés qui me rendent un boulimique d'images. Photo-graphie, dessiner avec la lumière, par extension la peinture avec la lumière.
